Hi This is on a fresh installation, based on kdebase-devel-3.0.1-9mdk.
When I tried to get the URL www.theregister.co.uk, Konqueror 'hangs', subsequently I try to launch mc in a konsole -> takes for ever, goes to another konsole and requires su => takes very long time.
