I assume you've installed the new KDE3.0.1, I haven't, so my comment is based on ripping apart the RPMs and looking inside. >From what I saw: If you select "KDE 3" from the choices of desktops in kdm, then it uses startkde3, which uses .kde3. If you choose "KDE", it uses startkde, which uses .kde. Both choices will actually start KDE3.0.1 since that becomes the default version of KDE when the new RPMs are installed. -- TTFN, Lonnie Borntreger
