Hello,

After I have updated all my packages to latest cooker,
straight after I restarted rpmdrake, and reloaded the lists,
rpmdrake died, and whenever I ran it again, it died
straight away. The 2 times without a single error message.

After looking more or less closely to the strace trace,
I don't see anything really wrong, except maybe that
one of the child process dies due to a SIGPIPE..

I erased the list files in /usr/lib/urpmi and then
rpmdrake would start peacefully, telling me that my lists
are now invalid and that it will remove then. All right. So after
that I added them again by hand, and then it screwed up the same
way all over again. The format of the list.cooker or list.contrib
in /usr/lib/ seems to have changed ? I can send the files
if needed.

I'm using
ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/linux/Mandrake/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/Mandrake/RPMS
as my cooker miror, and
ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/linux/Mandrake/Mandrake-devel/contrib/RPMS
as my contrib mirror.

# rpm -qa | grep rpm
urpmi-3.4-1mdk
rpm-python-4.0.4-5mdk
gurpmi-3.4-1mdk
rpm-build-4.0.4-5mdk
rpm-4.0.4-5mdk
rpmdrake-1.5-3mdk
rpmtools-4.3-2mdk
grpmi-8.3-1mdk

Any idea ? Anything that I've done wrong ?

Thanks.

Have a nice day,

Fabrice.
