I'm posting this to the list in the belief that others, like me, are on
the cooker mailing list because they like the "bleeding edge" - so they
are more likely to have a setup like I do, as well as having as much
Linux experience as I do.  I'm just stumped on this one.

I'm running pure cooker, except for the kernel, which I compile myself
from kernel.org - thus I'm using OSS, not ALSA.

If you have an ASUS A7M266-D board, and have your sound working
correctly with OSS (ie. the PCM/VOICE level on the mixer works), could
you please contact me directly.  (I'd be interested to know if you have
it working with the cooker kernel, too.)

Since this isn't directly cooker related, I don't want to add more
traffic to the list - so please contact me directly.
