The latest stable version is audacity-1.0.0; there is also an alpha
1.1.0,
neither of which are now/yet in cooker.
wxGTK2.2 has been replaced in cooker by wxGTK2.3 and the 2 are not
compatible so do not expect 2.2 to be re-added.
By modifying and updating the .spec for audacity-0.98-9mdk.src.rpm and
using the audacity-src-1.0.0.tgz from sourceforge as source 0 you can
successfully build
audacity-1.0.0-1mdk.i586.rpm on a current cooker system using wxGTK2.3.
I have done so and the app launch and Appears to perform without any
problem.
