Yes, I read the pdf document and was very impressed with the prospect. I've been trying all day to get it working on Mandrake 8.2 but have now given up. Following the instructions in that pdf I couldn't connect to the test database. I tried the cooker MySQL RPMs - no better. MyODBC was looking for isql.h so I tried various versions of iODBC. I now have libiodbc-2.50-3 and libiodbc-devel-2.50-3 and get... [23:01 peter@penguin: peter]$ isql MySQL-test -v [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified [ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect -- Mandrake Linux release 8.2 (Bluebird) for i586 AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1600+ 512MB Kernel: 2.4.18-6mdk-pnr-win4lin KDE: 3.0.1 Qt: 3.0.4 up 5 hours 9 minutes. ~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~
