StarOffice 6.0 rpms from MandrakeClub won't install without a --nodeps as it
is dependant on libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 -- It installs and runs OK as far as
I can see... no big whoop, just felt like somebody needed to know.

On the other hand, for the first time EVER, I was able to install Mandrake on
my IBM i1200 Thnkpad. And when I say EVER, I really mean it, I've tried:

Mandrake 8.0 (store-bought),
Mandrake 8.0 Freq (ISO-download),
Mandrake 8.1 betas 1 through 3 (ISO-download of course),
Mandrake 8.1 release candidate (ISO-download),
Mandrake 8.1 itself (ISO-download),
Mandrake 8.2 (ISO-download),
RedHat 7.0 (store-bought),
RedHat 7.1 (ISO-download), and even (*gag*)
Lycoris Linux ISO-download

-- NONE worked as my glorified paperweight of a laptop would not boot these
CDs and I couldn't bring myself to buy the strap-on floppy drive for what may
well be the worst laptop ever.

But that all changed with this latest Cooker snapshot. Whatever you have done
with isolinux is working, so please keep doing it!
