That makes sense.  Since the package update of sendmail didn't do it, I
did the following command.  The results look OK, is it correct?  (pulled
the "9" out of my....)

update-alternatives --install /usr/sbin/sendmail sendmail \
 /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail 9
