Is menudrake still maintained/developed?

There is interesting discussion in newsgroup about menudrake. Start it,
select KDE environment. Create new directory (submenu). Try to move
standard menus into this newly created submenu. You will find that it is
possible with some of them (e.g. Home or Edutainment) can be moved and
some (like Multimedia) cannot.

The problem was noticed by one user who tried to move all standard menus
into submenu.

If you look in menu definitions, none of KDE menu entries contain
section="Multimedia" - they are deeper, section="Multimedia/Audio" and
like. It seem like menudrake is confused by this.

Is it a real problem (i.e. menu cannot handle it) or just a problem of
menudrake? As I understand, the only thing that is done when "moving"
into submenu is to change section="Original" into
section="Submenu/Orginal". So far it does not matter if Original is one
level or more than one level.
