Hi, I don't understand that gnome2 dependancy system. My metacity-setup package requires libgnomeui2-devel. libgnomeui2_0-devel requires libgnomecanvas2_0-devel and libgnomecanvas2_0-devel requires libgtk+2-devel. libgtk+2.0_0-devel requires gtk+2.0-backend-devel, provided by either libgtk+-linuxfb-2.0_0-devel or libgtk+-x11-2.0_0-devel. Does Mandrake's GNOME2 work with the frame buffer driver? If not, shouldn't the ui packages of GNOME2 explicitly require the x11 backend stuff?
