In whose opinion? And in which regard? (gtk was the first toolkit in
general use to support themes, so at one stage it was the nicest). Also,
GTK is LGPL, Qt GPL, which has certain motivations sometimes (no need to
buy Qt to make a non-GPL app).

Write good Qt bindings for perl, then post patches to mdk tools, then
you won't be flamed. Otherwise, find something more useful to do than
ask arbitrary questions that have been answered in many places before.
