[Cooker] IBM Microdrive PCMCIA adapter

Hi,

        Has anyone been able to use an IBM Microdrive with their PCMCIA 
adapter?  
Inserting the card into a PCMCIA slot causes a modprobe ide-cs, then the 
computer hangs, with no error messages on the console.
