No and that is my problem. I don't use proxy. I use a regular direct ftp
connection and it no longer works :(
The new urpmi fixed somewhat. Now, I get this:
su -c "/usr/sbin/urpmi Video-DVDRip"
Password:
unable to take medium "disc 1 MandrakeLinux Cooker (cdrom1)" into account as
no list file [/var/lib/urpmi/list.disc 1 MandrakeLinux Cooker (cdrom1)]

Try installation without checking dependencies? (y/N)
The problem is that the rpm database and certain files are not being seen
after installing. This is the second time that I'm installing this package. I
couldn't query the package (rpm =qa | grep Video-DVDRip) I was able to
unintall it and this puts me now where I am at now. I choose yes. All seems
normal now. I can now see the package and others but how do I fix the cdrom
errors?
Here is my urpmi.cfg output:
cat /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg
update_source {
hdlist: hdlist.update_source.cz
with_hdlist: ../base/hdlist.cz
list: list.update_source
modified
}
contrib_source {
hdlist: hdlist.contrib_source.cz
with_hdlist: ../../cooker/i586/Mandrake/base/hdlist2.cz
list: list.contrib_source
}
plf {
hdlist: hdlist.plf.cz
with_hdlist: hdlist.cz
list: list.plf
}
Any ideas?
