Two different networks on the same interface (10.0.0.0/24 and
192.168.0.0/24) are a very very bad idea.  Get a second network card.
If both IP's were in one network, then that's cool (that's why you had
to hack the scripts, because they explicitly prevent you from doing what
you're trying to do because it's a very bad idea).
