Well I suppose this is an unobjectionable subject while we're waitin
on cooker to be gcc3.2 ruffled. Sort'a a hardship for us dialup folks
tom$ cat /proc/cpuinfo
model name : AMD Athlon(tm) processor
(just a lowly el cheapo 14 month old Tbird AYHJA core on a cheap Soyo
mobo, no XP for me_ _ yet ;)
|
bogomips : 3199.85
tom$ uname -r
2.4.18-21k7 (stock Mandrake .config, recompiled for k7 ... doesn't
make any discernable difference, I just like to do it ;)
cooker current to ~ 7/22 ('bout when y'all started messin with it)
So I must be gettin over 9Ghz ? Yeah, it's overclock'd, but just with
a el cheapo Coolermaster hs/f ;) Wonder why they call 'em bogo's ??
'Least now I can tell I'm XP 1800++++ ...or maybe 9Ghz+ Intel ? ;~>>
