In the KDE Control Center, under LookNFeel | Panel: if you enter a number manually into the "Percentage of desktop width/height to be used:" text box and hit apply, it doesn't work. You either have to use the up or down buttons or the scroll bar. I find it easeir to just enter, say, 75% manually. Just a cosmetic thing.
