This message was sent Thu Aug 1 15:04:38 2002, 4 hours ago but did not make it to the list from what I can tell... Hi.
I have tried to make a apache1 like suexec package for apache2 and I would like people testing it for me. Here's the output from the generated suexec wrapper when I compiled it at home: ./suexec2 -V -D AP_DOC_ROOT="/var/www" -D AP_GID_MIN=100 -D AP_HTTPD_USER="apache" -D AP_LOG_EXEC="/var/log/httpd2/suexec_log" -D AP_SAFE_PATH="/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin" -D AP_SUEXEC_UMASK=077 -D AP_UID_MIN=100 -D AP_USERDIR_SUFFIX="public_html" I have no idea if it actually works... You have to test it yourselves. As of yet the rpm _will_ conflict, use "rpm -Uvh --force" when installing. Get it here: http://d-srv.com/Cooker/ http://d-srv.com/Cooker/RPMS/apache2-suexec2-2.0.40-0.20020731.1mdk.i586.rpm http://d-srv.com/Cooker/SRPMS/apache2-suexec2-2.0.40-0.20020731.1mdk.src.rpm You might have to become root to rebuild the src.rpm to make it work...
