Issues from tonights testing:
1. 'excludedocs' => 1, does not inhibit installation of docs; /etc/rpm/macros contains %_excludedocs yes 2. installing the msec package results in /etc/sysconfig/msec.rpmnew being created, 0 bytes in size 3. installation of dev package results in many reports of 'group xxxx does not exist - using root' 4. generated auto_inst.cfg file specifies 'usb' as a supplemental group for each user, but /etc/group does not contain a definition for usb. 5. adding a smbfs definition to 'manualFstab' that contains a username and password results in the correct setup of /etc/fstab, but the credentials file /etc/samba/auth.<server>.<user> is not created. 6. step Configure X is installing the 3.3.6 packages, even though the 4.2.0 packages were specified in 'default_packages' and installed during the Install Packages step. This results after re-booting is INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast ... When using startx from cmd line, I get the error "Device section keyword expected in the XF86Config file. switching the X link to the 4.2 executable results in a normal X start up. 7. the faces files are in a different location (/usr/share/faces) than what the installer expects (/usr/share/mdk/faces). Thats all for now... Dave
