I know Postfix is the default smtp server in Mandrake, but if you are
going to provide "Sendmail" as an alternative smtp server, please then
pay attention on it and posts about it.
Problem 1- Two weeks ago I reported a problem related to the
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail script.
Tired of this problem :-( I decided to uninstall sendmail and to give a
chance to postfix.
Problem 2- After one day running postfix an old problem related to other
post about MAILTO="" option of /etc/crontab disappeared.
Today I uninstalled postfix to go back again to sendmail and the
Problem 2 appeared again. May be a crond delivering problem that make it
uncompatible with sendmail?
I forget to mention that all tests was maded in a computer running an up
to date Cooker system (urpmi --auto-select every day).
Ah, sorry about the understandable of my syntax. Soy de Amrica del Sur,
Uruguay ;-) y en este pas se habla espaol.
