 elbers : 02/08 12:48 : Incident created I tried to
install Mandrake 9.0 beta 1 on an MSI k3T raid motherboard
with a Promise PDC20276 raid controller. The controller was
recognised but I can't use the disk-array at all.

# dmesg
<4>PDC20276: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 60
<4>PDC20276: chipset revision 1
<4>PDC20276: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later

During the install I added the ataraid driver, than manually
the pdcraid driver. This gave an oops:

# modprobe pdcraid
running: /usr/bin/insmod_ 2> /dev/tty5 /tmp/pdcraid.o
