[Cooker] Mandrake Control Center unusable at 640x480

In a related problem, I reported that my 1280x1024 display was coming up
as 640x480.  In trying to use the Hardware/Resolution area of MCC to
check what I had entered, I found that the configuration window is so
large that the selection boxes for OK/CANCEL are off the bottom of the
screen, as is the destroy window (X) icon on the titlebar at the right.
The only way to get out was to open System/Console and kill MCC.
