Hi,
I am using Kernel 2.4.19mdk, pcmcia-cs-3.2.0-1 and Compact Flash monted
though an PCMCIA adapter (model ide-cs). This works perfectly usually (and
in particular with 2.4.18mdk).
ide-cs fails for me with 2.4.19mdk. (devfs_do_symlink(disc0): could not
append to parent, err: -17)
As a result, doing
fdisk /dev/hde
returns
"Impossible de rechercher /dev/hde" (impossible to find /dev/hde)
Same with
fdisk /dev/ide/host2/bus0/target0/lun0/disc
On the other hand, mounting a partition works fine (it is just impossible to
create them).
