Well, the gnome-terminal stuff that was going happily wrong last week seems mostly fixed now, but one of the problems I noticed is still there. On this box (Cooker updated to last night, Gnome 2) if stuff is going on in a gnome-terminal window that isn't active (i'm just watching it while another window is active - this is most notable with urpmi updates) most of the characters, as they appear, have another character underneath them - I can't actually see how to duplicate it on this laptop keyboard and it doesn't seem to exist in gnome character map, but it looks something like this:
|__| it actually seems to be at the top of the line below, but it appears when the character does and directly beneath it. Anyone know what's going on? Is this a gnome-terminal / zvt / whatever bug, or a Mandrake one? I can provide a screenshot to anyone who's interested, let me know. -- adamw
