I have found that it seems to have the same functionality as firestarter 0.82 in Mandrake 8.2 but with two minor problems. 1) The firestarter script reads in the /etc/resolv.conf file and complains about a commented line I have in there after a clean install. Deleting the commented line solves the problem. 2) My hit-list is empty, although hit messages seem to bin /var/log/messages. I have got a message in xterm when I have started firestarter from xterm saying "Hit filtered, Someone else's problem" which might be relevant. I realise these may or may not be Mandrake specific problems so I am posting a message on the firestarter mailing list also. Thank-you Allan -----end quoted text-----
