I mentioned in a previous post that I managed to do an install which did not install rpmdrake. Apparently, I didn't select the Configuration group, because there was no "rpmdrake" anywhere on the drive.
I reinstalled, making sure to select Configuration, and got similar failures. When I looked, I found rpmdrake in /usr/sbin, while the drakconf appears (from syslog entries) to be trying to launch /usr/bin/rpmdrake.
