Hi, That's what I thought, octave seems to build fine with the last gcc-3.2-0.3mdk, and runs without segfault.
Only two patches, one to make the html docs, one to fix a compilation failure using the current c-file-ptr-stream.h from cvs. Name : octave Relocations: (not relocateable) Version : 2.1.36 Vendor: (none) Release : 3mdk Build Date: Wed 14 Aug 2002 10:53:13 PM PDT Group : Sciences/Mathematics Source RPM: (none) Size : 3642522 License: GPL URL : http://www.octave.org Summary : GNU Octave -- a high-level language for numerical computations Description : GNU Octave is a high-level language, primarily intended for numerical computations. It provides a convenient command line interface for solving linear and nonlinear problems numerically, and for performing other numerical experiments using a language that is mostly compatible with Matlab. It may also be used as a batch-oriented language. Octave has extensive tools for solving common numerical linear algebra problems, finding the roots of nonlinear equations, integrating ordinary functions, manipulating polynomials, and integrating ordinary differential and differential-algebraic equations. It is easily extensible and customizable via user-defined functions written in Octave's own language, or using dynamically loaded modules written in C++, C, Fortran, or other languages. * Wed Aug 14 2002 Quel Qun <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2.1.36-3mdk - Build with gcc-3.2. - Main interpreter doc fixed and included. - Used cvs version of c-file-ptr-stream.h
