cool, that means SMP detection is not broken :)

Here is a solution to your pb. Put:

      compssListLevel => 5,
      compssUsersChoice => {},

in auto_inst.cfg.pl this will enable the installation of _important_
packages, especially the various kernels, based on the hardware.
