looking at the ddebug.log, I see it saying they were bad packages. It also said a bunch more were bad packages (crafty, conmen, dopewars, cxref, cproto, pingus, perl-Math-BaseCalc, plib-devel, perl-Time-HiRes, pinball, perl-Net-Jabber, and maybe some in other places I didn't see) but those seem to have installed fine (I haven't tried to use them). I also see "refusing medium 2" all over the place, but it didn't seem to affect anything. Also, after you accept all your users, that autologin thing still comes up. It's really bad. On configuring X, on the Gateway EV900 it picked 1280x960 (!?) first off, I had to change it to 1280x1024 (which works beautifully). Then it asks if you want to start XFree on boot, but doesn't choosing dm as a service (previous step) decide that now?
