Having been looking at OO & deploying it I have a suggestion which would be to create a script which can run much like the "First time" thing which allows the system to to install OO by default using the /net option & then as each user logs into his/her desktop for the first time it could pop up with "do you want me to set up OO for you now". Leave a link on the desktop to allow this (much like Windows does with various services) at a later time if the choice is "no".
Also someone needs to look at the KDE integration as the install puts OO on the menus for GNOME but not (IME) for KDE.
