& was just wondering if this is a known bug &/or what I should do about it. Adam START___________________ Dear All, Testing M9 Beta 2 : I have found some bugs. Reading the how-to post bit I am chopping each bug into a separate mail Bug 1 Show Stopper bug: The ***show stopper*** is that I have now re-installed a few times because.. On a number of occasions (while working in KDE3) when I have installed a program OK (i.e. no conflicts, forcing or anything) using the new RPMDrake all the icons on the taskbar turn into the little "Wheel Star" icons & most of the choices from the menu bar disappear (including all the packaging choices except GnoRPM). If I then log into say GNOME the menu options are still missing. Is there a way round this for now as once it has occured my beta testing ends while I basically format & reinstall? It might be that somehow the RPMDrake or possibly KDE itself is setting the permissions on the menus & icons to root only. Adam
