Do you mean the terminal server. It most definitely is not VNC. it can approximate to say citrix or similar the problem a friend of > mine has who is looking at Linux & IMAP as an exchange replacement is around > the mail filtering as most users like to have rules & with IMAP this is a > problem. > How so. We run IMAP on our server, and though I use procmail rules myself (actually, so does everyone else to get winpopup notifications), others have rules in Mozilla or so, which work just fine with LDAP. Maybe your mail client just wasn't built for LDAP (I can't bear anything but mozilla, they're all too slow at IMAP). > You could also have an automated antispam downloadable systemwide rule set > which is run before the local user ones e.g looking for: TMDA? spamassasin. [bgmilne@bgmilne bgmilne]$ urpmq tmda perl-razor spam The following packages contain spam: sweep spamassassin spampl [bgmilne@bgmilne bgmilne]$ urpmq tmda tmda [bgmilne@bgmilne bgmilne]$ urpmq razor perl-Razor-Agent What's the problem? Btw, the only problem with a linux box as a replacement for exchange is calendaring. -- |----------------Registered Linux User #182071-----------------| Buchan Milne Mechanical Engineer, Network Manager Cellphone * Work +27 82 472 2231 * +27 21 8828820x121 Stellenbosch Automotive Engineering http://www.cae.co.za GPG Key http://ranger.dnsalias.com/bgmilne.asc 1024D/60D204A7 2919 E232 5610 A038 87B1 72D6 AC92 BA50 60D2 04A7
