I installed Beta 3 and have some issues to point out about the install. Here
is the hardware setup.

Motherboard: Asus A7V266 AMD 1.4 Ghz Thunderbird 266FSB
Memory: 1GB DDR SDRAM
SCSI Controller: Adaptec 29160 PCI Hard Drives: 2 9GB Ultra 2 Drives
Video Card: Leadtek Geforce3 TI200 128 MB Modem: US Robotics Internal PCI
Monitor: Nokia 447XiPlus Keyboard: IBM Rapid Access USB
Mouse : Microsoft USB Wheel Optical

The install locks up once I get to the standard install screen. This also
happenend with 8.2. The screen just goes black and quits. However the F1
vga16 alternative works. Unlike 8.2, the installation routine recognizes the
IBM keyboard which is a nice improvement. But it seems very important to be
able to use the standard installation method with this hardware. People may
not be clued in to the vga16 alternative so if you guys can correct this it
would be great.

Otherwise the install went fine except for some unresolved symbols in one
video module which doesn't affect the boot process that I can see. Both KDE
and Gnome seem to run very crisply. It looks very promising.
