O.k. I figured out how to get the card working. You need to download the driver from Intel and install it (follow the readme). Here is a link to the driver download page http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Detail_Desc.asp?strState=LIVE&Pro ductID=820&DwnldID=2896 It would be great if mandrake would include this driver so that the install routine can do it automatically. Now I just have to figure out how to get the network started at boot. Right now, even though I have used drakConnect to tell it to start on boot, I have to insmod e100 to get it to work (minor inconvenience, but...)

During installation, I get the following error message: "insmod'ing module eepro100 failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm line 379" Then I am told that install "Found Intel Corp.|82551 QM Ethernet Controller network/main interfaces." I tell it there are no more devices to be found and it says "An error occurred No network card found" If I try to configure from within DrakConnect, I get a similar message: "insmod'ing module eepro 100 failed at /usr/lib/libDrakX/modules.pm line 54" Does anybody know how to get this card working? I'm new to this, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks, brian
