When rpmdrake is started from the menu, it seems that the script proxy.sh or proxy.csh is not read. So it is impossible to access an ftp medium.
But if we start it from the console it works. (because we have started a shell, so the environment variables are loaded). The proxy configuration should be read by rpmdrake.
