[Cooker] Using DHCP

If I install and specify "use dhcp" for the IP address, when logging in 
with Gnome I get:

        Could not look up internet address for <hostname>.<domainname>.
        This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly.
        It may be possible to correct the problem by adding
        <hostname>.<domainname> to the file /etc/hosts

                           [Log in Anyway]      [Try Again]


KDE logs in ok.  Obviously the /etc/hosts is not the right solution.
