When I then click on Resize, it presents me with a box that has a slide that
goes from 1 to 1000.

Why cant I adjust out past 1GB?

I then clicked Clear All.
This left sdb with one large empty space, in the details it shows
Empty
Start: sector1
Size: 1023MB (99%), 2097150 sectors
Cylinder 0 to 1011
