Having had a squiz at them, FaithTree and OFB seem to be pretty much mutually
exclusive in terms of content. I might expect a release announcement for
Sword or BibleTime to be mentioned on both sites, but little else.

I don't know about Mandrake specifically, but the GPL and the way Free
software works do meet a couple of verses from the Good book exceptionally
well (quoted from the KJV for that authentic ancient cant):
MOTIVATION/GPL
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you,
do ye even so to them -- Matthew 7:12
CODE SHARING
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one
soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he
possessed was his own; but they had all things common. -- Acts 4:32
UNPREDICTABILITY OF DEVELOPMENT PACE AND DIRECTION
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every
one that is born of the Spirit. -- John 3:8
BEGINNING AND COMPLETING `IMPOSSIBLE' PROJECTS
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
`Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;' and shall not doubt in
his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. -- Mark 11:23
FLAMEWARS/MUDSLINGING
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye
shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to
you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye,
but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou
say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and,
behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the
beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out
the mote out of thy brother's eye. -- Matthew 7:1-5
POLITICS(/BSD-LICENCING?)
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour,
and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them
that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of
your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the
evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even
the publicans [brothel-keepers: pimps, more or less] the same?
-- Matthew 5:43-46
ATHEISM (sorry, quoting this 2000 year old text was irresistable)
there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own
lusts, and saying, `Where is the promise of his coming? For since
the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation.' For this they willingly are ignorant of,
that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth
standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that
then was, being overflowed with water, perished. But the heavens and
the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of
ungodly men.
> No offence intended.
Really? I was kind of wondering what the competing catch-cry would be...
* `Nobody wants you to use Mandrake?'
* `The Great Void wants you to use Mandrake?'
* `Mandrake is the end result of a very long sequence of uncountable
squillions of extremely unlikely accidents and coincidences, get
over it and get on with your life?'
AKA
* `Hydrogen, left to itself for long enough, will form Mandrake Linux?'
