Well, starting dm before network may be an option, but this issue is one 
of the irritating problems with linux.

Maybe the final solution it something like serel, which can start 
multiple service simultaneously, but tracking dependencies.

But maybe the timeout can be reduced. If you don't get an IP in 10 
seconds, you're not going to get an IP in 2 minutes.
