Fire up konqueror.  Right click on a link, choose "Copy Link Location".
Go to another app like say Eterm and try to paste it with the middle
click.  You will get nothing.  Not only does it not let you paste.  But
it actually unsets whatever you had in the selection clipboard.

This is a pain in the ass when using apps that aren't KDE based and
don't have keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+C, menus or toolbars to paste.
It's a real usability issue.

The workaround is hitting Ctrl+Alt+V and then selecting the item in the
clipboard and then klipper will copy it to the selection cliboard.  And
then you can paste.  But it's really silly to have to do that extra
step.
