When using shorewall, configured from mcc, the dsl connection halts. When turning the firewall off, it's usable again without reconnection.
Again, when using something like firestarter, the same problem is partially there: When walling on eth0 and not ppp0, it dies When walling on ppp0 with the wall on before connection, verification packets won't get through. When walling on ppp0 with the wall on after connection, it works fine. Maybe this is the problem, that it does eth0 and not ppp0? Also, it is needed to remember that it must be enabled after the connection is up.
