When an error occurs during installation, it simply says "error installing package X, go on anyway?" (or something to that effect) and all you get are "yes" and "no" buttons. There should be a "retry" option, so that you can at least try to install the bad package again instead of simply skipping it. Sometimes these errors are caused by the CD drive failing to spin up in time, and it screws up the install because dependencies don't get installed. -- -- Igor
