With a user logged in on X, if same user logs in on any virtual console
and starts mc, that console gets littered with trash messages, e.g.:
Failed gpm connect info
[/home/flepied/RPM/BUILD/gpm-1.20.0/src/liblow.c(446): warning: closing
connection
The result of the screen corruption and scrolling make mc rather
difficult to use.
This does not happen with other users logged into vc[1-6].
vc[1-6] is standard 80 x 25 text on ET6100.
