Just a note, that this setup still has problems with the 2.4..19-5mdk kernel (hang, keyboard dead - not even sysrq keys - with weird graphics on the screen), but it works fine with kernel-linus and the RH kernel I tried. I just can't get kdm to use a keyboard, and gdm doesn't start.
