-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Well, I never use headphones, but play a bit with alsamixergui. The default mixer settings seem a bit b0rked. And I'm probably not enough of an audiophile to figure it out. There are 20 mixer settings or so there, so I'm sure a few of them will be able to increase your volume a bit.
If you have the time to come up with some good settings please let me know;) Danny On Wednesday 28 August 2002 09:38, James Sparenberg wrote: > On Wed, 2002-08-28 at 00:12, Danny Tholen wrote: > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > > Hash: SHA1 > > > > On Tuesday 27 August 2002 22:52, Alan Shoemaker wrote: > > > mandrakeexpert incident 30240 forwarded to cooker. > > > > > > usfs : 27/08 08:26 : Incident created in Beta 3 and 4 > > >sound card not working (sound blaster live). used sndconfig > > >and "sound blaster live not support" was returned. > > > > I think sndconfig is to old to be used with this card. > > Use harddrake and draksound. > > > > Danny > > Danny > > You're right... sndconfig doesn't work with the card... unfortunately > the card doesn't work with beta's 3 and 4 very well either.
