There are a whole slew of apps that are not building right now so using cooker on PPC is really for the bored and/or very experimental type folks. =) I really don't know how useable cooker PPC is. I think Jeff is doing the same with the Alpha port as well... more of a spare-time thing (could be that he's doing work to make sure the kernel will work on Alpha and so on)...
