Has anyone else noticed X taking a lot of CPU? I'm not doing anything
intensive at all (one Galeon window open, gnome-terminal open with two
tabs, xchat open, an Eterm open.. that's about it). The system is
basically idling... But top shows that X jumps around between 90% CPU
to 50% and then after a while goes back down to a normal amount of CPU
being used (ie. 1.3%). I have a feeling that it is due to xscreensaver
(using the decaying screen one).

But after I move the mouse, there's still a lot of CPU being used for
about 2-3 minutes after my screen is back to normal. Using GNOME2 with
a freshly synced cooker.

Anyone else see this?
