Somewhere during KDE2 Ctrl-O (open URL) which is
automatically filled with your current URL was made so
that that URL is highlighted so you can quickly delete
or overwrite it. They did it in a neat way though
that it didn't overwrite your clipboard, as you
probably had something there you were just about to
paste.

Well it got broken in KDE3, and Ctrl-O overwrites your
clipboard, making you lose what you were about to
paste. There are of course other annoyances
associated with having it overwrite your clipboard
then also. Yes I know about middle-click pasting
right to Konq to have it go to a URL, but that doesn't
always work. Ctrl-O does.
