Thanks for responding to my email. I think this is more of a driver issue. The reason why I say this is for two reason. First I tried using the sound recorder program and it also didn't work. And the second reason was that when I tried to select line input #1 as my recording source using GMIX the program would show that the channel was selected. But the next time you started GMIX the recording channel would not be set. I also had the same results with Aumix. Maybe somebody else with a Sound Blaster Live could give it a try. Thanks Brent
