No, if it was it'd be called 4.2.0.1-something Also, I don't see anywhere in the package changelog that says he's upgraded to full CVS since 4.2.0-2mdk, just a few pieces have, pieces that shouldn't affect me. 4.2.0-17mdk works fine for me. > http://www.xfree.org/cvs/changes_4_2.html > > This is only lastest release (21 Aug. 2002) after 17 > January 2002. > > If not, please relay this to the packager of XFree86 > so keyboard, mouse locking and issue of 'noaccel' > would be gone. Everything is affect on. XFree86 > 4.2.0 > is hopeless. I think the mouse problem was created by something other than XFree86. I would expect the keyboard problem to stem from it though, although I don't see anything in the changelog that should have affected it. I'm not seeing anything in the XFree86 4.2.0.1 changelog that deals with it either... I doubt we'll be able to update to XFree86 4.2.0.1 right now, since we're in a freeze (9.0 comes in 10 days). Thank you very much for your message though, I'll pass your thoughts on to Mandrake's XFree86 packager. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
