Both when I upgraded B4 to RC1 via network and when I installed RC1 directly from hd.img floppy boot, the installer failed to make a floppy that would successfully start the system. In both cases, message was:
Boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue. Hardware K6/2-550 VIA MVP3 256 M SDRAMM ET6100
